CHARLES EAMES AND MORE INTERIOR DESIGN IDEAS

Charles Eames said, "The details are not the details. They make the design."

The following photos are some of my newest favorite ideas. View and enjoy. And remember, the details needn’t be “more”, they just need to be special.

The wood floors, overhead skylights, extended wall fixture these details make a white room special.

The floor to ceiling window and view make this simple room special.

The flooring and ceiling add the necessary detail to this kitchen.

The refurbished oak flooring makes this white staircase and landing interesting.

The lattice ceiling, slate flooring and all white palette makes this traditional entry edgy.

The detail is in the ceiling of the otherwise simple white room.

Again the ceiling is the interesting detail.

The floor to ceiling window and view enhance the kitchen's design.

A round recessed skylight is the detail of interest.
Again the ceiling detail and skylight enhance this white kitchen.
The view and flow from the living room to the patio is the important detail.
The detail in the architecture makes for an ideal outdoor dining area.
